Englewood Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Director to over see the operations and administration of all Perioperative Services, determining most effective processes and workflows (e.g., scheduling, room turnover), staffing and assignments, to achieve organizational and departmental goals and objectives. This leader will define performance metrics, report progress toward goal, and develop and execute action plans to enhance clinical, operational, financial and service performance, leading a staff of approximately 160.

The Director of Perioperative Services will be a high-energy, systematic thinker with three to five years of recent clinical experience in surgical nursing. As a clinical leader, the successful candidate will have deep knowledge of industry operational and regulatory best practices and experience driving process improvements in the clinical environment. This individual will have a strong track-record in recruiting and retaining high performance teams and be a champion for learning and development initiatives department-wide, including a commitment to the ANCC Magnet Recognition program. The successful candidate will possess demonstrated leadership, collaboration, project management, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
