Midway University seeks an experienced professional to serve as Director of the International Programs. We seek an individual who can build a program which includes international recruitment, study abroad, and multicultural student programming; direct the mentoring program for middle and high school female minority students. The Director reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Director will work collaboratively with faculty members, academic affairs, and campus administrators throughout the University.
Midway University is experiencing a new found energy. In 2015, as part of its three-year strategic plan, the University went through a renaming and rebranding process. Most importantly in December 2015 the University was successfully reaffirmed by its accrediting body, SACSCOC, for ten years. In May 2016, the Midway University Board of Trustees voted to admit men into its traditional undergraduate programs for the first time. Immediately following this historic vote, the opportunity to add several men’s athletic teams from a closing institution contributed to the quick growth of the residential student body on campus. The combination of each of these historic events has begun a transformation of the institution and it is an exciting time to be a part of the Midway University team.
