Diversified Search is pleased to be partnering with a highly regarded health system in the southeast to recruit an experienced, creative, innovative and strategic Vice President of Learning & Development. This role, which will be seen as a transformative leader, a change agent and key influencer in the system, will provide executive leadership, and will also hold responsibility for system-wide accountability for the learning and development functions of corporate education, organizational development, dimensions training, student programs, and library/multimedia services. The role will develop strategies in line with the CEO’s business priorities and collaborate with the executive team regarding learning & development priorities, execution, metrics, and deliverables. The VP will be responsible for implementing best practices, and will guide the development of new ideas and new learning modalities. Further, the VP will be responsible for designing and delivering solutions that include a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, experiential learning, distance learning and online learning and will monitor the effect of all approaches for effectiveness.

Education: Master’s degree required in education, organizational development or related field
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare education or related fields required. Minimum 5 years progressively responsible leadership experience in education, HR, organizational development or operations roles.
Knowledge of current and future trends/practices in learning and development.
Expertise in adult learning theories, systems thinking, and organizational culture.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with learning management system.
Strong work and philosophical ethics, high integrity and energy to create and deliver.
Strong communications and partnering skills; one who is able to develop relationships at every level and respect all roles within the organization
