You'll stretch your skills and grow your careers as a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with the established specifications and business requirements in order to deliver business value. Primary Responsibilities: Perform admin functions using NoSQL databases such as MarkLogic, Elastic Stack Implement HA solution and define Backup/Recovery strategy Assists in development of systems and procedures affecting database management, design and maintenance Performance and Tuning Participate in 24x7 on call support Design and implement MarkLogic and Elastic Stack within a variety of Big Data platforms Provide data administration support of the development and maintenance of production and non-production database environments for distributed applications Perform Java, XQUERY, XML other web technology programming/configuration as needed Automation of operational aspects within MarkLogic, Elasticsearch and other Big Data Platform
Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree 6+ years of overall experience Experience performing administration of MarkLogic Experience in implementing XQuery and MarkLogic API development Strong Linux skills Experience in supporting large NOSQL Production clusters Excellent design, Development, Implementation, Documentation and problem solving skills Experience with integration methodologies and tools Experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop and NoSQL) Previous experience with HA and distributed RDBMSPreferred QualificationsExperience with Java development, XML and Web Technologies Advanced degree in a technical or business fieldExperience in DevOps functions Technology Careers with Optum.
