This position is responsible primarily for supporting the direct business development and sales administration process for UnitedHealthcare Global team. The individual will report to the Business Development Manager and will provide sales support to the Sales Directors.Positions in this function identify and develop potential business opportunities and new targeted customers or groups, but do not have primary responsibility for closing sales. Establishes and cultivates strategic business relationships with key sales and market influencers, potential new customers, and related community institutions. Works closely with sales and marketing groups to translate business development strategies into specific initiatives, additional market research projects, and selling activities. Management positions in this function may work closely with finance and other functions on potential acquisitions and alliances, but that is not the primary focus of jobs in this function. Primary Responsibilities:Coordinate and process submissions for pricing, sold case paperworkMaintain data credibility within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) toolPrepare presentations for broker / consultant and prospect / client meetingsWork cooperatively across practice groups to provide administrative assistance as required to ensure that company's revenue and profitability goals are achieved Participate in and provide administrative support to project content with matrix partners (across UHC clients and practices) in order to ensure that all deliverables achieve content integrity, client satisfaction, and company profitabilityParticipate in strategic planning, operational improvements, and corporate initiatives for UHC GlobalGenerally, work is self-directed and not prescribedWorks with less structured, more complex issuesServes as a resource to others
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDActive Life & Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain license within the first 6 months of employment2+ years of Sales Support experienceProficiency within Microsoft Word (create and edit documents)Proficiency within Microsoft Excel (ability to filter, sort, create and edit spreadsheets)Proficiency within Microsoft PowerPoint (create and edit decks)Preferred Qualifications: Previous work experience with international clients, in the healthcare or insurance fields Bachelor's Degree or higherSalesforce experienceCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
