The Vice President of Employer & Individual Digital will be responsible for defining UHC digital strategy, developing multi-product roadmaps and ensuring quality delivery and operational readiness of market leading customer experiences within the Employer & Individual line of business. You will partner with various UHC organizations including their Employer & Individual business line leads, marketing, operations and engineering teams to communicate and execute the digital capability team's goals and initiatives. Primary Responsibilities:Work closely with the business segment to define and execute the digital portfolio for UHC's Employer & Individual business Lead a data-driven organization, including prioritization of capabilities, evolution in digital process (to product team model) and ongoing measurement of effectiveness of digital experiences Define and own KPIs and ROI for E&I's digital experiences, including consolidation and baselining of key metrics Analyze and assess consumer and market trends, applying key insights to new and existing products Benchmark competitors and other industry leading digital experiences to ensure teams are developing forward - thinking digital strategies and staying abreast of leading edge practices Provide oversight and direction to successfully marry the Employer and Individual line of business's strategy with supporting strategies and roadmaps, and with high-level strategies from other parts of the organization Lead digital capability teams and partner with IT / Digital Product teams to deliver digital experiences against defined KPIs and goals Strong relationship management of key stakeholders across the business segments, IT and Delivery Lead digital capability teams to ensure overall operational readiness of new digital experiences across call centers, operations, legal, sales and marketing teams Lead and mentor professionals in order to build and maintain high performance teams
Required Qualifications:5+ years of demonstrated success building/leading digital teams and delivering value driving consumer experiences 8+ years business and strategy leadership experience, digital preferred 8+ years proven record in strategy, user experience, digital operations or digital product roles Experience having built, scaled, managed and evolved customer facing, ROI impacting systems of comparable complexity Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, marketers, creative, analytics and technology Experience managing agile teams Outstanding communication/storytelling skills Experience in influencing and driving senior leadership and vendors through data-based analysis Inspirational and adaptive leadership style that promotes innovation and collaboration and fosters commitment to a vision Demonstrated passion for quality, customer experience and efficiency Strong business acumen, with experience in business case development Track record managing a large P&L Ability to work in a sales and complex commercial environmentPreferred Qualifications:Social & Mobile Platforms Healthcare industry experience Front–end development Content Marketing Digital Marketing Applications Digital Commerce Advertising Networks Tech Selection and Lifecycle Management DevOps & Web Mechanics Marketing Technology Operations Physical Computing Technologies Enterprise ArchitectureCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
