Corporate & Investment Banking in Asia Pacific is a unified coverage group that fully integrates and delivers Citi's market leading Corporate Bank and world class Investment Bank capabilities across the region. With the focus on our large Asian clients, the Corporate Banking team will always ensure we have the right conversations with our clients and present them with the value-added advice, products and services for their specific needs.
The Corporate Bank Relationship Associate will work with and support the Relationship Managers in the on-going management of the Financial Institution Group's (FIG) client base. The FIG team acts as the primary contact point through which our clients access Citi's capabilities. The clients that the FIG team cover and service include Australian banks, Australian subsidiaries of foreign banks, insurance companies, fund managers and broker dealers.
As a member of the Relationship Management team, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of the continued effort to build and grow our long-term relationships with clients; addressing their most complex banking needs; helping clients to succeed in their businesses by solving problems and realizing opportunities. In addition the focus will be to assist in the delivery of Citi's global coverage and product platform

Key responsibilities will include:
Support the coverage team in developing innovative solutions that address clients' needs and objectives
Prepare new transaction submissions & annual reviews for onward submission to credit committees
Take the lead in the on boarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate "Know Your Client" (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met
Review and help resolve performance metrics (eg. revenue, call reports) info discrepancies
Interact with business partners to provide materials supporting various business priorities
Support the country team in the implementation of regional and global initiatives
Corporate and/or Institutional Credit analysis experience with exposure to various Banking products (Transaction, financial markets, investment banking, debt and credit related)
Experience with internal credit and transaction processes in banking environment
Team player who works well with others
High energy, strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Strong writing, analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and cultural skills to work with a variety of countries and products across the region
Effective communicator and proactive in eliminating silos
Key qualifications and experiences required:
University degree and/or previous coursework, experience in Finance, Accounting, and Economics
