This individual will be responsible for establishing, mandating, and implementing standard policies, procedures and best practices across the company to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. Primary Responsibilities:Support West Region Compliance with prevention, correction, and detection initiatives Conduct state - specific contract research for the West Region Monitor changes in requirements to mitigate risks and achieve compliance Monitor emails from the regulator with requests for ad hoc, or regulatory reporting and disseminate requests to the health plan accountable owners, track submission and closure of regulator request Lead the distribution of contract required reports to and from the regulator, including data entry of regulatory filings and ad hoc requests for the health plans in the West Region Field and coordinate responses to the regulator Serve as the primary point - of - contact for all Contractor operational issues Coordinate the preparation and execution of contract requirements such as operational reviews (ORs), random and periodic audits and ad hoc visits from the regulator Develop compliance communications and drive problem resolution for a business segment across United Health Group Work across various platforms of communication such as telephonic, virtual, and written
Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of work experience 4+ years of experience working in a government, corporate, legal or healthcare environment Knowledge of the 7 elements of an effective compliance program Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications:Undergraduate degree Previous experience with Arizona state specific Medicaid regulations Experience in healthcare Strong verbal & written communication skills Solid computer skills Strong problem solving skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Superior oral, written communication and interpersonal skills requiredCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
