EOSi seeks an Account Manager/Field Engineer (AM/FE) to join our team in the Northeast Territory. They will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
The AM/FE will be responsible for retaining the existing customer base and helping the RSM acquire new business.
Target markets for EOSi’s wastewater solutions include the municipal wastewater and certain industrial wastewater markets including; energy, protein, mining and refineries.
The target applications in these markets include; denitrification, BOD supplementation, selenium and perchlorate removal.
Manage existing business in Territory
Actively manage existing customers and prospects within the Territory by developing relationships and leveraging these to acquire new customers.
Work cooperatively with the Process Solutions and Programs group (PS&P) and RSM Manager to manage existing Key Accounts and ensure the scope of service is being delivered to the client.
Primary customer interface responsible for solving problems associated with the use of the Company’s products.
Use of Salesforce.com, as a CRM tool; enter updates accordingly. Establish relationships with key water and wastewater regulatory organizations within the Territory. Develop an understanding of the nutrient removal regulatory landscape for markets within the Territory.
Use Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook to report activities, managing Territory business development activities and financial performance of Territory.
Assist in New Business Growth
Identify new opportunities within the Territory to sell Objective Based Solutions.
Develop a strong understanding of the application of the Company’s products in biological wastewater treatment processes.
Review federal and local regulations within target market pertaining to application of the Company’s products.
Qualify the opportunities by monitoring activity in target markets including; key process data of existing plants, new plant build-out schedule, plant upgrade configurations, as well as all stakeholders associated with the opportunity.
Coordinate the planning, set-up and execution of pilot studies in Territory in cooperation with Program Manager from the PS&P group.
Attend, as required, industry conferences and trade shows to promote the company’s products and services.
Drive EOSi organization to expand its capabilities
Provide feedback for marketing collateral (e.g. case studies, technical notes) as appropriate.
Assist marketing in the coordination of any tradeshows within the Territory.
Monitor and report competitive information; examples include competitive product updates, pricing, and customer wins.
Support efforts of the PS&P group in the Territory with new applications of the company’s product line.
Assist with product evaluations and studies
Assist with installation and removal of field equipment (water quality probes, tank level indicators, or chemical feed pumps) from the customer sites.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in environmental, chemical or biological engineering related technical field.
Must have familiarity with biological wastewater treatment processes, more specifically, biological nutrient removal.
Candidate must also have the ability to constructively coordinate the interaction of other team members to successfully retain customers and help RSM acquire new business.
Strong communication, including presentation skills, is a must.
Candidate will be based from a home office and shall reside within the territory (Ideally between the Hartford, CT and NYC area) to ensure he/she can quickly establish a solid network in the target industries.
Candidate must be able to accommodate up to 50% overnight travel.
Preference will be given to those candidates with chemical or wastewater sales experience, biological wastewater treatment knowledge and strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.com.
