Provider Relations Advocate, Skilled Nursing Facilities - Field Based in Western PA

In this role, you'll use your strong customer service orientation and knowledge of insurance claims to serve as an advocate for providers in our networks. Primary Responsibilities:Assist in end - to - end provider claims and help enhance call quality Assist in efforts to enhance ease of use of physician portal and future services enhancementsContribute to design and implementation of programs that build/nurture positive relationships between the health plan, providers and practice managersSupport development and management of provider networksHelp implement training and development of external providers through education programsIdentify gaps in network composition and services to assist network contracting and development teamsIf you are located inWestern PA, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Required Qualifications:High school diploma 4+ years of health care / managed care experience2+ years of provider relations and / or provider network experienceIntermediate level of proficiency in claims processing and issue resolution1+ years of experience with Medicare and Medicaid regulationsProficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Must live on Western side of PAAbility to travel regionally up to 75%, minimal overnights Preferred Qualifications:Undergraduate degreeExceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and remain on taskGood organization and planning skillsAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines from multi-staff members within the departmentExperience with SNF billing or coding proceduresThe health system is moving ahead.
