The Doctoral Assistant, Professional Preparation is responsible for the overall management and advancement of ACPA’s myPROfolio platform. The Doctoral Assistant is responsible for overseeing key activities and programs critical to the success of the Association’s professional registry program.
Primary responsibilities include:
Manage and oversee the myPROfolio including but not limited to the implementation of the test user group including multiple feedback loops with association leadership and membership; developing, marketing, and promoting new registry participation through outreach to institutions and other relevant organizations;
Serving as an International Office staff liaison to the Credentialing Implementation Team, in addition to the Deputy Executive Director;
Serves as the primary content aggregator for courses, and works with the myPROfolio Editorial Board when content needs review;
Developing communications for web and print;
Serving as primary contact for myPROfolio related vendors; and presenting and/or facilitating registry related presentations thru various platforms.
The successful candidate will be an innovative, resourceful, high-energy professional who is an effective agent of continuous improvement with a focus on quality and customer service. Additional qualifications include: strong interpersonal skills; excellent organizational and time-management skills; rigorous attention to detail; outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to work within an environment of frequently changing priorities and as an integral part of a team; proficiency in the use of software applications such as MS Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel) as well as internet research; high comfort level with technology web content creation; and the ability to travel to the annual convention and other meetings throughout the year.
Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration/Student Affairs or related field required. Candidate must be enrolled in a higher education/student affairs/counseling doctoral program. Experience with higher education associations as a volunteer is strongly desired. This position is remote, and not based in Washington, D.C.

Additional Salary Information: Priority will be given to applications received by Monday, 23 January, 2017; review of applications received after this date will continue until the position is filled.
