Serves as a liaison between the product owners, business organizations and the technology teams and assists with the review, analysis, implementation, and evaluation of business systems
Works in the University Technology Office to help address the technology needs and requests related to core systems, web applications and user experiences at ASU
Works directly with Product Owners, Project Managers, other Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, Application Developers and Customers to build and implement solutions
Documents functional and technical requirements utilizing a variety of methods including, but not limited to: interviews, requirement gathering meetings, surveys, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis to ensure thorough understanding of all aspects associated with request
Maintains knowledge of structure and location of various available data sources to assist in creation of metrics and KPI’s
Assists in drafting user stories and requirement specifications
Assists in documenting releases and support materials
Provides input on application testing and performance of testing
DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM; to include some evenings and weekends based on project needs.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or similar AND one (1) year experience in procedural, management or systems analysis work OR Five (5) years experience in procedural, management, or systems analysis work OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Demonstrated knowledge of web site design, Drupal, java and web application design
Demonstrated knowledge of higher education administrative systems and related business principles, methods and procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of automated and manual management information systems
Demonstrated knowledge of Knowledge of SaaS business systems and integrations experience (Cloud, AWS)
Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce, DARS (u.Achieve), PeopleSoft, Mulesoft
Demonstrated knowledge of mobile application domains
Demonstrated knowledge of forms design and procedures development
Demonstrated knowledge of workflow/process flow diagramming and documentation
Demonstrated knowledge of ITSM foundations
Experience in performing technical/specification writing and documentation
Experience in analyzing complex problems, data analysis, development, testing, and/or service delivery
Experience in creating conceptual solutions that are technically feasible within current system constraints
Experience in performing effectively as a member of a team
Experience working in an environment subject to tight deadlines, potentially quickly changing and conflicting priorities
Use PC and use hand/fingers for repetitive motion (keyboarding/typing
Sit or stand for extended periods of time
Walk moderate distances to perform work
