Campaign Manager Seattle, WA
Full Time - salary based on experience
The Bush School is in search of an individual to join our Development team as Campaign Manager. The Campaign Manager reports directly to the Director of Development and is responsible for day-to-day management of the School’s capital campaign including project management, special events publications, records, external reporting, and research. He/she will provide senior-level support for the Director of Development and participate actively in strategic and tactical planning for the development program. We are looking for a candidate who can support the school’s mission of diversity and inclusion and who has a background that displays and proves an understanding of cultural fluency. A qualified candidate will be able to manage the key responsibilities and tasks as listed below:
Support the Board of Trustees, Head of School, campaign leadership and Director of Development in qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift prospects and donors
Schedule appointments and provide supporting material for all major gift solicitations
Partner with campaign leaders and staff to plan and implement campaign events, including small gatherings, information sessions, and celebrations
Manage and continually refine campaign prospect pool
Conduct and analyze prospect research
Maintain all campaign-related records and files
Manage the work of Campaign Steering Committee, including individual committee members
Manage all external reporting
Implement campaign communications plan
Supervise campaign gift processing and implement acknowledgement, and recognition procedures and activities
Supervise and implement all campaign events and activities
Plan and implement production of all letters, proposals, updates, and other written materials related to the campaign
Serve as Senior Level Member of Development
Work with the Director of Development and Associate Director of Development on:
Year-end donor reports
Reports to Campaign Steering Committee, Resource Management and Audit Committee, and Board of Trustees
Developing and implementing strategic departmental goals and objectives
Monthly and annual audit reconciliation with Business Office
Successful candidates will be a flexible, high-energy, and creative problem-solver and have:
2-3 years of experience in development office, preferable in a campaign or major gifts environment
A bachelor’s degree required
Strong organizational and management skills with a proven ability to set priorities and meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner
Proven ability to work and motivate others in a fast –paced environment
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills, with proven attention to detail
Fluency in Office Suite, and experience working in a database, with knowledge of Raiser’s Edge a plus
