Job Title: Brand Manager, Pain Care & Men’s Health
Reports To: Director, Pain Care & Men’s Health
Location: Headquarters, Chattanooga TN
Be a voice for both the Pain Care and Men’s Health businesses. This includes leadership on a portfolio of six established pain brands, including Icy Hot and Aspercreme, and leading commercial planning and launch execution of Men’s Health Rx-to-OTC switch initiatives.
In both cases, this role may be responsible for the identification, development and execution of the marketing mix elements required to deliver Tier 1 launches/switches in a 360 manner. Upon launch, duties may include full P&L responsibility, day-to-day brand management, assisting with brand strategy & positioning, and new product development. The position requires strong cross-functional team leadership and coordination, as well as fostering relationships with global counterparts, agencies, and retail partners, to identify, gain alignment, and execute key initiatives.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Lead brand strategy & positioning development and refinement
Develop 360 brand communication and messaging platform, including claims development and optimization, working closely with regulatory, medical, clinical, and switch teams
Ensure annual and long range sales and profits goals are achieved as well as achieving long-term sales growth
Support Director in partnership with global category teams
Manage brand agency relationships to generate strong brand programs
Develop life cycle management (innovation) strategy and roadmap
Oversee day to day P&L management, including forecast and inventory planning

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college required, MBA preferred.
Experience: Three to Five years of total brand management experience required; 2-3 years at the brand manager/senior brand level preferred.
Professional Skills: Must have demonstrated the ability to lead people and achieve results through others. The capacity to manage multiple priorities within a matrixed organization to a successful outcome through leadership & influencing skills is necessary for this role.
Role Specific Competencies: This position requires extensive use of computer equipment. Must have a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business software to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with Nielsen or IRI programs is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Experiences in the following industries are desired: OTC, consumer health care, or consumer packaged goods.
Special Requirements: Position is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Sanofi CHC’s corporate office. This position requires the ability to travel (15-20%).
