Established in 2011, Caravel is a boutique search firm specialising in real estate.
Founded by John Lenz and Ian Lawlor, with over 30 years combined real estate experience, Caravel provides tailored recruitment solutions to clients that invest, develop, asset manage, finance and advise in real estate globally.
The firm covers four practice areas:
The firm has an international remit having successfully completed recruitment assignments in UK, Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Ireland, Scandinavia, United States of America, Netherlands, Luxembourg and the Ivory Coast.
Caravel recruits at all levels of seniority from managing director to analyst level.
The firm only works on exclusive ('sole recruiter') search assignments of which 20% are retained.
Caravel has developed an extensive candidate database (Microdec profile) and has a large portion of the real estate market mapped out.
The successful candidate will not be expected to win mandates or manage client relationships from day one; the firm is at a stage in its development where it receives a lot of incoming business from existing clients; the successful candidate's chief responsibility will be to execute recruitment assignments autonomously.
