The Renewable Resources Energy Efficiency Specialist manages Trico’s renewable and energy efficiency programs. This position administers existing programs and develops new programs to promote Trico’s energy efficiency objectives. This position updates and monitors the program databases and coordinates with other Trico departments to transfer and document renewable resources and energy efficiency information.
Oversees SunWatts program administration, including tracking and processing program applications, design review and coordinating final inspection.
Maintains familiarity with renewable resource programs, Trico interconnection requirements and current tariffs.
Analyzes data for regulatory compliance and internal tracking; makes recommendations and implements changes regarding process improvements to ensure project and process effectiveness.
Analyzes meter information to maximize good member relations to mitigate, track and solve member problems and complaints.
Manages Trico energy efficiency program administration including Classroom Connections, Energy Workshop and Operation Cool Shade.
Assists with data compilation, analysis and posting to the various websites to meet Trico’s regulatory requirements.
Attends and represents the Cooperative at other utilities, service organizations, various media, public or governmental committees and agencies.
Answers phone and email questions from members and contractors regarding renewable energy and energy efficiency programs.
Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
An Associate’s Degree in applicable field. Three to five year’s direct customer service, renewable energy and/or energy efficiency program experience in lieu of education.
General knowledge of renewable energy and energy efficiency programs.
Strong experience with computer data entry and ability to operate a 10 key calculator by touch
Math skills and ability to explain bill calculations, monthly usage, and seasonal differences.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
A Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field. Knowledge of renewable energy and energy efficiency best practices and programs.
Prior experience overseeing renewable energy and energy efficiency programs and technologies.
