This position is primarily responsible for the ongoing administration of the long term incentive (LTI) plans and will provide analytical support to the Rewards and Analytics team. This includes establishing and maintaining plan and employee information with Solium, monitoring transactions, meeting reporting requirements, data collection, compilation, analysis and reports. This positions reports directly to the Manager, Executive Compensation and works closely with the other members of the total compensation team.
Manages day to day LTI administration and maintains 3rd party relationship with Solium;
Administers the long term incentive plan programs, in conjunction with the external service provider, Solium, including the following areas:
Maintain process documentation on LTI admin processes
Implement process efficiencies in LTI admin (electronic statement delivery, combining legacy processes into one, provide direct access to non-HR groups, auto-proration in Solium);
Executes annual and out of cycle grants;
Process award vestings (deferrals, payouts, share releases);
Creates and maintain education materials related to LTI;
Maintains process documentation on LTI processes;
Monitors and processes stock option exercises, cancellations;
Liaises with LTI participants where required;
Produces monthly and quarterly reporting;
Participates in creating and maintaining the database for external proxy disclosure;
Creates tables to be used in proxy disclosure;
Gathers, validates, analyzes and organizes information related to compensation issues as directed;
Provides day-to-day analytical support to the total compensation team as required; and
Conducts ad-hoc research and analysis on compensation issue, policies and practices.
Undergraduate degree in Business/Human Resources
2 – 4 years of experience managing long term incentive plans
Strong analytical skills and experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated high degree of accuracy
Conveys facts and information clearly in both written and verbal communication
Ability to collect sufficient information to understand problems and issues
Resourceful and highly results oriented with analytical, evaluation, problem solving, and facilitation skills
Strong in Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites of products
Resourceful and highly results oriented with analytical, evaluation, problem solving, and facilitation skills.
Demonstrates a willingness to implement new ideas within acceptable boundaries
Ability to handle sensitive and complex issues with sound judgment, tact, and discretion
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple and competing priorities
Prior experience with Solium considered a significant asset
Working towards CHRP designation
Experience working within a large diverse organization
