MEP Commissioning Delivery and Engineering Planning Program Manager (Data Centers)

*IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not an IT-type job, but more akin to those who have commercial project management experience. 50 percent concentration on stake holder coordination, 30 percent concentration on MEP infrastructure, 20 percent reporting and documentation. Overall this is very commission driven position.
In this position, the ideal candidate will provide project management services to client to manage the client's Commissioning Delivery and Engineering Planning Program ("CDEP") program in the design and construction of client's data centers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The foregoing services will also include but are not limited to the following:
(Within First Month) Support Design team, Engineering Team, Quality team, and Document Management team in establishing which critical global commissioning-related documents and workflows will be prioritized for review and update, and establishing scope boundaries for said documents to help avoid gap/overlap.
(Within First Month) Support Design team, Quality team, and Document Management team in establishing for immediate use the incorporation of global commissioning-related documents into a Document Management System and process (i.e. document versioning, updates, review and approvals, archiving, release and broadcast to local project teams).
Weekly arrange and manage CDEP program coordination meetings.
On-demand arrange and manage cross-functional product/system commissioning document and workflow review workshops (some will be via video conference, others will require domestic or international travel and arranging logistics with host sites).
Document and track top level program goals and metrics.
Document and track task level program action items and status. Surface any blockers.
Manage and maintain program schedule.
Interface with Program Managers and Leads in multiple Engineering and Design disciplines to ensure overall CDEP goals are being achieved and teams are surfacing progress and blockers.
Interface with Program Managers and Leads in Quality, Delivery, and Operations to ensure overall CDEP goals are being achieved and that Quality processes and metrics are leveraged (e.g. defect feedback loops are used to prioritize cross-functional workshop planning and completion).
Typical deliverables may include:
(Within First Month) List of prioritized cross-functional commissioning workshop opportunities.
(Within First Month) Create project execution plan for the CDEP program, from current phase through closeout/sustaining. This will require identifying prioritized program requirements in collaboration with management and key points of contact from Engineering, Design, Quality, Project Delivery, and Operations.
(Within First Month) Create CDEP program schedule. This will require identifying prioritized products/systems, issues, and program-level tasks in collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams of Engineering, Quality, Project Delivery, and Operations representatives.
(Within First Month) Create CDEP program reporting templates. Bi-weekly progress. Quarterly newsletter.
(Within First Three Months) Create and manage process of: receiving and tracking design and engineering CAPAs/RCCAs (corrective or preventive actions) stemming from multiple quality lifecycle feedback points.
Design team and Engineering team consistently translating the CAPAs/RCCAs into a prioritized stack based on available impact data, and tracking and summarizing multiple product teams' progress and blockers toward addressing the prioritized CAPA/RCCA stack governance and RACI in process execution (Within First Six Months) Based on the main outputs of the CDEP program, create a 'training/rollout' communication plan, informational presentation(s), and schedule that communicates to the commissioning stakeholders within the Delivery and Operations teams: the program objectives, improvements made, process requirements, where to find information, and who to contact.
Bi-weekly progress reports to client's communicating program plan and specifying program progress, blockers, and metrics/performance against scheduled activities and program goals.
Quarterly newsletter to client's communicating program and results to a wide group of stakeholders.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university. Minimum four years of related experience. Prior Supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Strong process skills, negotiating, decision-making and analytical skills are necessary. Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools and techniques.
Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
