The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District is seeking an Executive Director of Facilities and Construction. who holds a wide breadth of skills and knowledge in areas of state facility programs, facility planning, management, budgeting and contract administration principles. The chosen candidate will be responsible for coordinating and developing short and long range master plans for school housing facilities, developing, coordinating, implementing and monitoring school construction projects, developer fees, Mello-Roos fees, bond programs, and all facilities contracts of the District. The chosen candidate will supervise and oversee the Facilities and Construction Departments of the District, as well as implement and maintain the District's Energy Management Program.
Applicant must have graduated from a four-year accredited college or university with a degree having primary emphasis in mathematics, research design, system analysis, planning, business management or related area. Completion of a certificate program in educational facilities planning and/or relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience directly related to educational facility planning activities, preferably in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
Applicant must possess a valid and appropriate California Driver License and insurable under District auto coverage.
Additional Salary Information: Starting salary: $125,736 - $130,729, Initial placement is based on experience and credentials, plus a generous benefits package.
