Corn Belt Power Cooperative, a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, with headquarters in Humboldt, Iowa, has the following job opening:
Energy Services Engineer
This position will:
Coordinate and implement the agricultural, commercial and industrial energy efficiency incentive program for the Cooperative and our member systems.
Provide energy engineering, energy efficiency, load management, equipment reliability and power quality expertise, assistance and advice to the key accounts staff of the member cooperatives and wholesale and retail customers.
Organize and/or perform agricultural, commercial and industrial energy audits and load profile evaluations.
Coordinate and/or perform infrared thermography evaluations of agricultural, commercial and industrial facilities, as well as substations, power transmission and distribution systems.
Assist in determining the sizing requirements, the installation and operation costs of standby generation and uninterruptible power supply systems.
A four-year degree in engineering or industrial technology required. Background in power applications and business analysis is preferred. Strong computer, mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work with internal personnel, industrial and commercial personnel and the general public.
Must have or be able to obtain a certification as a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers, a Level Two Infrared Thermographer and a Level One Ultrasound Inspector.
