Powder River Energy Corp. (PRECorp), Wyoming’s largest electric distribution cooperative, serving its five northeastern counties with residential and commercial electric service, is currently seeking a Treasury Credit Analyst to be located in our Sundance or Gillette office.
This position will be instrumental in executing the cooperative’s membership credit and risk management. Duties will include conducting and monitoring new and current member credit monitoring in compliance with PRECorp policy and procedure. Serve as a key contact for large commercial members. Coordinate and manage software reporting to manage member collateral. Position will also serve as backup to a variety of treasury tasks including, but not limited to, billing, accounts receivable, collections and cash management. Occasional travelling to PRECorp offices and member places of business may be required.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills needed for this position:
Knowledge of service operations as they relate to an electric utility. Must have the ability to become familiar with all PRECorp policies, rules and regulations, procedures and rates. Must have general knowledge of how all other departments relate to treasury.
Must have the ability to work with the public and maintain good member relations.
Must be able to coordinate work and get along with co-workers.
Must have the ability to organize departmental work to meet deadlines.
Must be familiar with standard office equipment and must be familiar with all data entry programs relating to customer service.
Must be able to work with a variety of people individually or in groups under varying circumstances.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to represent to the public a positive image of PRECorp.
Must be able to communicate to Management departmental goals and objectives in an honest and constructive manner.
Must be able to communicate to Management issues or challenges in process efficiencies.
Must have a valid Wyoming driver’s license.
Education and Experience:
Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field and three to five years’ experience in member service relations and accounting.
Ten years’ experience in billing and/or member service accounting as they relate to any electric utility may be considered in lieu of a degree. Additional specialized training in supervisory or management skills preferred.
