Reliability Professional / Engineer ensures customer satisfaction and effective reliability support, repair and inventory management by providing appropriate support and leadership within customer's onsite location. In addition, this person will serve as Rockwell Automation's primary resource for reliability initiatives within the customer's. Helps to provide management experience to streamline and consolidate, improve functionality, and efficiency of customer's storeroom, its inventories, and maintenance expenditures. By working with customers across multiple functions including Operations and Finance, this position will establish reliability objectives and targets that align with the business strategy and productivity requirements. Finally, this position will work with Maintenance and Engineering to determine the primary process and equipment failure modes from existing operations, determine root cause of equipment failure, and engage corrective and preventative action to increase equipment availability. The position works cross functionally at all levels to ensure alignment of Rockwell Automation to customer strategy and consensus on reliability improvement actions and investments
Implement and support concepts of Demand Chain Management with customer's Maintenance Footprint in North America.
Provide analysis and reports using various information systems to monitor and measure the effectiveness of inventory activities and repair/maintenance expenditures
Lead business process improvement activities through use of Lean/Six Sigma and Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving & Decision Making techniques
Identify and implement cost reductions, service improvements, and productivity improvements in the functional area of inventory management and repair/maintenance expenditures
Deploy equipment reliability strategies with focus on risk mitigation.
Ability to deploy WAGES (Water, Air, Gas, Energy, Steam) Reduction Techniques across a maintenance and factory environment for positive ROI results.
Maintain effective business relationships with customer
Energetic team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills with abilities to lead and supervise external employees during times of floating coverage responsibilities
Ability to train employees and develop on world class workflow processes.
Continuously achieves world class customer service levels while following guidelines to support best business practices
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
