Intermountain Rural Electric Association is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill our Safety Inspector position in our Sedalia location. With over 151,000 customers, Intermountain Rural Electric Association is one of the largest member-owned electric utility cooperatives in the United States.
Responsible to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Risk Management & Insurance Director will oversee the Association’s risk management and business continuity activities, to include business and workers’ compensation insurance policy/claims management and loss prevention program management. (S)he will research, plan, develop and administer programs and initiate policies to manage the Association’s insurable and non-insurable risks and its business continuity/emergency management plans.
A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or similar professional degree is required. Working knowledge of risk management concepts and practices; and insurance practices and claims management is required. Must have experience in developing or performing risk assessments.
Minimum 8 years of risk management and/or insurance management preferably in the utility or energy industry.
The salary range for this position is $7,285 to $9,794 per month.
