Daymer Bay Capital is a new breed of Third-Party Marketer aiming to bring a new level of institutional quality to the industry. In-depth, technical knowledge of fund managers' strategies and strong market intelligence are the cornerstones of the Daymer Bay approach to asset raising, enabling us to represent our fund managers with authority and match them intelligently with suitable investors across the institutional and wholesale spectrum.
We launched in April 2018 and already have three high-quality fund managers signed up as clients. We are ambitious and energetic but also friendly and down to earth. We are a signatory of UNPRI (United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment).
This is an exciting role for a high-quality graduate with 1- to 2-years' working experience who is seeking a career in asset management in a distribution role and wants to join an entrepreneurial team.
As a recent start-up, Daymer Bay Capital does not have specific career pathways mapped out; but we expect the role to grow with the growth trajectory of the business. The role will have considerable responsibility from the outset, and we would expect the successful candidate to have outgrown the role within a year, moving on to more senior activities such as direct client management and conducting sales / investor meetings.
You will be joining a small team of professionals, based in London SW1, and taking on the important role of client liaison alongside other key organising responsibilities including: office, database, investor meetings, PR and brand presentation. With the client facing directors travelling a great deal there will necessarily be a high level of autonomy and responsibility in this role, with initiative, confidence and energy being of paramount importance. You will report directly to the Chairman / Chief Operating Officer.
