The Director of Athletics is a 12-month, full-time position that reports to the Head of School. The Director of Athletics is a member of the senior administrative team and is responsible for developing and implementing the athletic program for the Upper, Middle, and Lower school divisions. Cincinnati Country Day School athletics has a tradition of excellence in the city of Cincinnati and the state of Ohio, the Director of Athletics must maintain this tradition while aligning the program with the school’s mission.
Ability to work well with students, colleagues, and parents
Relevant experience and/or established history in athletic administration
Experience coaching at the high school or collegiate level
Experience in athlete training and physical conditioning
Commitment to wellness
Facility with technology use including social media to manage, instruct, and promote sports programs; Proficient in technology especially game film use
Experience in promoting/marketing of athletic programs and student athletes
