We are seeking a senior leader to help set the vision and drive execution towards the target state. As Head of Product for FM technologies, you will own product development and be responsible for the design, development and delivery of CBRE's Facilities Management product and technology proposition. This is a highly visible and critical role that will drive strategy for our product offerings.We are looking for a leader who excels within a high-growth, metrics-driven, customer-focused organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a vision for FM/ Smart building platform of the future, assess the baseline and outline an execution roadmap to achieve the desired target state.
Own product roadmap and execution on various platform (web, mobile, backend platforms). Institutionalize a customer focused, outcomes based philosophy to informing product vision and priorities.
Partner with and be the voice of customer with internal all stakeholders.
Build and lead product and engineering teams. Manage an agile development process leveraging lean methodologies and design thinking.
Track technology/ business trends, venture investments and competitive offering to inform product vision.
Translate consumer/business/technology trends and operational needs into digital solutions that scale, create exceptional customer experiences and result in long-term customer loyalty; explore new monetization opportunities in this space.
Central point of contact for FM technologies across the organization working across multiple stakeholder groups, managing internal/external customer relationships and driving deliverables.
Develop and manage partnerships and vendors necessary to enable and deliver FM tech vision. Set the bar and manage ongoing quality and service levels including (but not limited to) SLA's, performance metrics, and customer feedback.
Jointly own, with the marketing organization, all customer research including surveys, interviews and usability testing, and all external product positioning and marketing.
Provide points of view and support on merger and acquisition opportunities.
15+ years of consumer technical product and engineering experience, including significant web and mobile experience.
Avid practitioner of modern product development (e.g. design thinking, A/B testing) and agile software development
Experience navigating a global organization
BS in Computer Science or a quantitative discipline, MBA a plus
Strong oral and writing communication skills
A proven track record for inspiring, attracting, developing, and retaining a team of high caliber engineering and technical product leaders.
A strategic thinker with strong tactical acumen-gets stuff done without fanfare.
Ability to speak to all stakeholders and handle delicate situations with maturity.
Understands and signs up for success metrics—and sees them as a key driver of motivation for a team.
