Reflex Staffing Solutions has been engaged to assist our client with a search for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor. Our client is a privately owned company with a very aggressive 5 year growth plan. They manufacture components and parts used in a variety of industries including: automotive, aerospace, energy and consumer. This is a new position that will be part of our clients existing management team, that will advance their capabilities and efficiencies in their manufacturing operations.
This role will require a candidate who will be able to exhibit previous experience with managing production personnel, familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kanban, VSM, Six Sigma etc.), and previous experience in cross-training and developing a workforce/team.
Lead a team of approximately 10 individuals in the daily execution of production tasks, work scheduling, production scheduling, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain and improve upon current Kanban system infrastructure.
Execute timely orders of raw materials and components to ensure on-time delivery of finished products to customers.
Establish a cross-training program to add depth to our organization.
Train co-workers and new hires in standard operating procedures, safety protocol, etc.
Manage inventory accurately, and responsibly. Make timely inventory transactions in our ERP system (Made 2 Manage).
Must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong work ethic with the ability and flexibility to schedule work overlapping multiple shifts and to work on the weekends when necessary.
Previous experience with ISO and/or IATF standards.
Excellent computer skills: proficient with MS Office, previous ERP system experience preferred, previous experience with web-based customer portals or understanding of EDI technology is a plus.
