Mountain Parks Electric is accepting applications for a full time Substation & Metering Superintendent. This position will be located at the Mountain Parks Electric headquarters in Granby, CO. The successful candidate will supervise and assist two to three employees in the design, scheduling, performance, installation, programming, inspection, maintenance and documentation of SCADA, communications, substation and distribution equipment, in both existing and new installations. The candidate will write and review switching procedures, and train employees in the safe operation of distribution equipment and SCADA procedures.
In addition the candidate will supervise, plan, and assist in the testing, maintaining records, administration, operation and maintenance of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure system, meters, and meter peripherals. The candidate will supervise, plan, and assist with various duties related to customer service including reading of meters, making delinquent account collections, connecting and disconnecting meters, and meter exchanges.
Must have and maintain a valid Class “A” CDL (commercial driver's license) in Colorado.High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have the ability to read electrical drawings, in addition to computer and math skills. Journeyman Lineman certification preferred.
