Take the lead in driving the Compliance Division's strategy in Macquarie Capital and support Macquarie Corporate and Asset Finance business, as a key member of our Compliance and Risk Management Group's leadership teams in Asia. Work closely with innovative and fast-paced businesses in our most dynamic region. You will be a pivotal driving force towards an effective compliance and risk culture through establishing, adapting and maintaining a strong compliance framework. You will do this through the delivery of sound advice, relevant and effective training and robust monitoring. By working collaboratively with other Business Aligned, Functional Compliance teams and other Risk divisions, you will help ensure risks are appropriately recognised and addressed. Leveraging your outstanding compliance and risk management skills, you will act as a trusted advisor on compliance implications for specific transactions, new products and businesses. Your experience in a principal investment environment, ideally in infrastructure or energy assets, and strong understanding of the reputation, conduct and bribery and corruption risks that may arise, will make you a subject matter expert when you develop and deliver training and policies as required. You will provide advice on the management of potential conflicts of interests associated with transactions undertaken by Macquarie Capital. Additionally, you will engage in breach and incident management, and report on key compliance metrics to key stakeholders across the Macquarie Capital, Corporate Asset Finance and the Risk Management Group. As an essential member of our senior management team, you will also contribute and deliver our wider Compliance Program of work regionally, as well as engage with other Compliance colleagues in the delivery of global projects. Finally, together with the senior management team, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Risk Management strategy. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a strong track record of compliance advisory experience and financial services laws gained within private side businesses, including investment banking, corporate finance and capital markets. You will also have a proven ability to take a pragmatic and commercial approach whilst achieving desired risk outcomes. Your strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders will be highly valued.
