Develop sales by maximizing potential of current customer base and developing new customers
Leading and directing distributors or reps to maximize umbrella opportunities
Ensure business is profitable and sales are maximized within guidelines of profit structure
Attend all trade shows deemed appropriate by the General Manager for the development and advancement of business
Develop, set up and tear down the trade show booth
Project a yearly volume business plan by month
Project a yearly marketing plan by month that includes all expenses related to trade shows, travel, entertainment, advertising, rebates to customers, and any other expense related to the business
Answer all costing requests made by distributors, reps or customers—this requires evaluation of products landed cost verses required profit margins verses customer demands and industry competition
Develop new product styles each year
Give direction to Marketing Manager for development of a new catalog each year
Give direction to Marketing Manager for development of flyers or brochures to drive business
Drive sales of items on closeout report
Evaluate product packaging, hangtags, labeling and to make suggestions to General Manager where change can benefit company
Ensure distributors or reps have catalogs, samples and any sales support materials necessary to develop business
Experience a must in a high energy, fast paced work environment
Excellent communication, problem solving and presentation skills
