This is relationship manager / subsidiaries account manager role in GSG Singapore - Japan Desk, in charge of all Japanese companies in Singapore.
The individual is responsible for managing the development of Japanese relationships to effectively meet the goals of GSG Singapore and Japan Desk.
The individual has to leverage on our existing Japan franchise/relationships and work closely with Japanese PAMs and Japan Desk RMs in Asia/Singapore to capture the investment / transactional flows into Asia/Singapore with the deep knowledge of loan products, markets, corporate finance and TTS products.
The individual is also responsible for account planning, wallet size analysis and actionable business plans to meet financial goals by coordinating with Japan Desk senior RM in Singapore.
The main job objectives are to uptier existing relationship with Japanese clients and to start new relationship with target Japanese clients in Singapore.
To achieve these objectives, the individual has to work along with the product and risk functions as well as leverage cross business functional expertise to ensure flawless execution. The individual must be a self-starter, and has the ability to work in a fast paced environment with the ability of developing, maintaining, and growing multiple relationships simultaneously. The expectation is that the individual will quickly develop adequate local expertise to drive the development of profitable portfolio.
The individual has to have the ability of working as a team. Network, teamwork and connectivity are very important skills to succeed.

Japanese speaker preferred as incumbent will be supporting Japanese clients based in Singapore
Strong organizational & planning skills: the ability to manage & synthesize many pieces of solution / technical data into a single, flowing solution within tight timeline
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience
Professional disposition and client-focused attitude towards both internal and external clients
Tenacious and takes pride in getting the job done the right way the first time
Attention to detail with strong sense of quality in work
Strong familiarity with Microsoft applications is essential
Understands client needs and product capabilities, and is able to develop solutions specific to client needs
