Harrisburg Academy, a preschool through 12th grade coeducational, college preparatory day school seeks an accomplished and innovative Director of Admissions to manage our Admissions Office and enhance enrollment outcomes in our preschool through grade 12 programs.

It believes that admission goals can be achieved more effectively through strong communication with the community, the staff and the faculty.
BASIC FUNCTION Reporting to the Head of School and working with the senior administrative team, the Director of Admissions will lead, plan, direct and implement overall strategy for all student recruitment initiatives on behalf of the school. The Director will oversee and actively participate in the creation, design, budget, and production of on- and off-site recruitment efforts and events to support enrollment.
POSITION DESCRIPTION The Director of Admissions, in conjunction with the Director of Communications, will oversee the development of all advertising and publicity related to the attraction of new students and the retention of existing students. The primary objective of the Director of Admissions is to increase the school’s enrollment to a 90 percent capacity level or better, ultimately aiming to create a waitlist of 10 percent of the class size. To achieve this goal, the Admissions Department will work closely with the Communications and Marketing Department, the faculty, and the Administration.
