The University of Scranton has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director of Global Education. The Associate Director will support oversight of international students and scholars and study abroad programs at the University. The Associate Director will work with the Director regarding compliance with federal and state immigration regulations, recruitment and retention and guidance and counseling of international students, and furtherance of a robust study abroad program at the University. In all duties, the Associate Director serves as a backup to the Director in support of the newly re-organized Office of Global Education at the University.
The successful candidate will be a quick learner, resourceful, high-energy professional who is an exceptional communicator, with excellent organizational skills and a team builder and collaborator. The incumbent will also be a person who is proactive in responding to student concerns and is familiar with best practices in the area of sending students abroad and/or servicing incoming international students.

A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, International Affairs, or related field is preferred. Must have three years of direct professional experience in study abroad and/or international student services or comparable experience.
