The Board of Directors of Arrowhead Electric Cooperative invites applications for the position of CEO. The Board has contracted with NRECA’s Executive Search to facilitate the search process.
Arrowhead Electric is a financially sound, member-owned, electric and broadband distribution cooperative providing service over 800 miles of line in Northeast Minnesota. The Cooperative serves 5,000 customers with Electric or Broadband service. It has 20 employees, total revenue in excess of $12 million, and a plant investment of $41 million. Arrowhead Electric receives its wholesale power from Great River Energy, a Generation and Transmission Cooperative based in Elk River, Minnesota and is also a member of the Minnesota REA, NRECA, CFC, NISC, and is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative.
The candidate will be a person of high integrity with demonstrated leadership skills and career achievements. Position requires at least five years’ experience at the senior management staff level. Knowledge in the areas of financial management, member relations, broadband, strategic planning, board relations, operations, rate structures, and legislative issues are preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent oral/written communication and people skills. Utility experience is preferred.
