About Tipmont REMC Tipmont REMC is the fifth largest member-owned electric cooperative in Indiana serving over 23,000 members and 26,000 meters in parts of eight counties in west central Indiana. Established in 1939, Tipmont is headquartered in Linden, Indiana, located 15 miles north of Crawfordsville (home to Wabash College), 20 miles south of Lafayette and West Lafayette (home to Purdue University), and 50 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
Member Service Representative Tipmont is seeking a Member Service Representative. This individual will assist members regarding the day-to-day operations that result in effective, accurate and courteous service and promotes good will across the cooperative's member base. This individual is a member of Tipmont REMC's call center that is responsible for all incoming phone calls. This individual also ensures that all members, vendors and visitors to Tipmont REMC have a pleasant, courteous and informed reception. The individual must exercise judgment and possess full knowledge of all areas concerned with member accounts including billing, service requests, account adjustments, payment arrangement, capital credit, deposits, rates, letter of credit, memberships, ancillary products and other services offered by Tipmont REMC.

Required: • High school degree or equivalent required;
Preferred: • Associates Degree with prior experience in related field is preferred.
• Three years of billing and member/customer service experience preferred.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
