Clyde & Co seeks a mid to senior level associate in our Washington, DC office to join our team representing insurers in coverage disputes in federal and state courts nationwide, at both the trial and appellate level. Our attorneys handle coverage disputes and matters arising from shareholder and other director and officer (D&O) litigation, financial institutions claims, fiduciary liability, antitrust, private equity and investment management disputes and other professional liability claims, as well as general liability disputes arising from product liability and pollution disputes.
Candidates should be self-starters, able to work independently, comfortable with a varied caseload, and possess exceptional attention to detail. In addition, candidates should have the following:
A minimum of four years of commercial litigation, clerkship and/or insurance coverage experience
Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent academic credentials and work history
Admitted to DC Bar or eligible to waive in
