Responsibilities of the VP of Business Development:
Creating and implement a Sales Strategy to attack the MEA, liaising with the necessary internal stakeholders where required.
Driving new business sales through direct client engagement - including identifying new prospects, initial engagement and sales negotiations.
Working closely with Senior Sales members to build a consistent sales approach for Counterparty Cloud Based Solutions products for existing customers.
Act as subject matter expert in the Cloud Based Solutions.
Working closely with the Product team to ensure our value proposition is well crafted for new products and is well connected to our sales opportunity landscape.
Growing the sales pipeline and increase the pipeline conversion rate
Requirements of the VP of Business Development:
The role will require you to lead conversations, be confident enough to challenge the status quo, and steer the direction of meetings.
Fluent (written and conversational) English is essential, whilst the ability to speak Arabic is a distinct advantage.
You will be expected to plan and pre-prepare for every interaction with clients and prospects.
You will need to have very strong and demonstrable negotiations skills and understand how to structure "win-win" partnerships with key influencers in the firm's marketplace.
Proven ability to read an audience, build trust, confidence, and credibility among strategic partners and prospective clients.
You must manage detailed sales and operations functions, be clear where you are within the sales process, and be able to accurately report and forecast when deals will close.
You must have the confidence to sit at the table as a member of the senior executive team and be able to guide the conversation.
You will be responsible for your own daily sales operations, scheduling your own training, marketing initiatives and delivering consistent messaging and follow-up with clients and prospects.
