Our Energy & Resources team combines deep sector knowledge and a range of analytical tools and technologies to increase the confidence of management, industry and external stakeholders in our clientâ€™s data and activities. We work with leading blue chip clients in areas ranging from External and Internal Audit, specialist settlement assurance that reflects the unique arrangements in the sector and other adhoc projects including regulatory reporting and investigations. Whatever the type of work we apply a range of core skills in data analysis, data management, diagnostic analysis, data science and data visualisastion to solve the challenges and problems we face. Our work most commonly focusses on areas relating to finance, risk and regulatory data but also includes work with customer, workforce, operations, supply chain and fraud.
Our work is delivered as stand-alone projects and working with other parts of the Deloitte practice in particular our colleagues in the Audit and Assurance Service Line. Risk Analytics is an integral part of Deloitte's capabilities, and our OneDeloitte strategy enables individuals to work with our specialists in different areas across the business. â€¢Provide our clients with the information and insight they need to take the best decisions, improve their performance, minimise risk and assess the results and outcome of the business â€¢Use data and analytics to challenge client and Deloitte teams to focus on the areas of greatest risk â€¢Ensure that data and information meets the business requirements â€¢Engage with clients to get a detailed understanding of their specific needs â€¢Solve the puzzle of integrating disparate sources of enterprise data and information to model and visualise our clientsâ€™ businesses â€¢Design and develop solutions for reporting and analytics â€¢Develop solutions and processes to ensure the right level of data quality â€¢Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
Responsibilities â€¢Delivering risk analytics projects, supporting the design of the project approach and producing deliverables for clients. â€¢Working across a range of delivery engagements, from small to large projects, often as part of a mixed capability delivery team and at times working on more than one project in parallel. â€¢Developing the internal practice through codifying best practice & delivery methodologies. â€¢Supporting in the development of analytics propositions within the CPS industries, and the development of thought leadership. â€¢To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firmâ€™s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
