Summary: The IT Manager’s role is to ensure the streamlined operation of corporate technology in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. The IT Manager will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The IT Manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following:
Recognizes and respects diversity among coworkers and customers.
Performs all supervisory responsibilities associated with the IT department’s network and help desk staff, including employee related issues.
Establishes and maintains effective professional working relationships with co-workers, and every level of management.
Determines the goals of IT within broad outlines provided by the executive management and contributes to the continuity of computer services by providing necessary technical leadership and project coordination.
Forecasts costs and equipment needs for projects and programs as required and related to operations.
Stays abreast of the latest developments in technology and remains highly technically competent at all levels of data processing while striving for enhanced user productivity through implementation of new software technology where applicable, and the implementation of policies that more effectively utilize resources.
Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, and acquisition of the resources needed to support them. Assures responsiveness of long-range plans to corporate objectives.
Implements all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security and disaster recovery.
Administers vendor, outsourcer and consultant contracts and service agreements.
Practices asset management for IT hardware and software.
Establishes and maintains relationships with contractors and equipment suppliers.
Enforces company policies and procedures.

5+ years of experience in networking and systems analyst experience positions.
Microsoft Server technology.
Cisco Switches, Meraki is a plus.
Demonstrated networks, operating systems, system monitoring, security and technology infrastructure experience.
