Job Description Summary The purpose of the role is to analyse, investigate and evaluate risk, develop policy recommendations, and challenge and advise assigned the business to ensure risks are understood, mitigated and controlled.

Our purpose is to be the Leading 1st Line Risk Function in Financial Services in the UK. We work collaboratively to guide, support and challenge on all risk related matters, and we are responsible for the successful delivery of the risk agenda against internal and regulatory requirements.
This role represents an opportunity for a highly motivated Risk professional to work at the heart of the Value Streams (VS); partnering on how they manage Risk Profiles, including Delivery, Execution, Change and Operational risks.
As a Change Risk Specialist you'll:
Support Product Owner (PO), Engineering Lead (EL) and Delivery Leads (DL) in all risk matters and all relevant ad-hoc queries that may arise.
Work with Business Management to challenge and review Lab and Value Stream level risks and issues ahead of Monthly RAID forum.
Ensure the EL & PO are briefed ahead of the Risk Co on their submission and talking points.
Offer risk and issue guidance to VS and Lab ELs & POs; including but not limited to the articulation and scoring of risks.
Work with VS and COO Business Risk Division to ensure that Events and Breaches are understood and are being resolved in a timely manner.
Attend relevant VS and Lab level governance and maintain relationships with ELs and POs to identify areas where support can be given and to ensure appropriate change methodology is being followed, and where necessary conduct deep dives and reviews to confirm any specific asks from COO Business Risk Division.
You must be a transformational leader, who clearly demonstrates drive, energy, commitment and integrity, and with a track record of strong delivery on "Hows". You'll need to be an experience Risk professional, with proven experience in Risk Management in a similarly complex, constantly changing, regulated environment.
Experience in making use of available data to make good decisions, and providing subjective insightful views backed by appropriate data in simple ways, is also essential.
A capable communicator, you'll be well networked, confident, and effective in dealing with stakeholders up to MD level.
