Specific Job Responsibilities: What you'll do:
Perform benchmarking and research via market data surveys; analyze results to determine competitive positioning of CNS's salary ranges and pay programs
Analyze jobs and work scope performed to determine job levels and hiring ranges
Conduct compensation evaluations for new hires and internal promotions, providing guidance to HR Business Partners and business leaders
Provide recurring and ad-hoc compensation metrics and data reporting to a variety of internal and external recipients

Specific Job Knowledge & Training Required: Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience in compensation administration or compensation analysis or Master's Degree plus at least 3 years of experience. More than 13 years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive relevant experience will be reviewed and considered for equivalency to these requirements.
Experience with mathematics, data analysis, accounting, or business statistics
Ability to work independently, prioritize activities, and self-manage work, focus, and time for optimum results
Ability to make sound judgments on sensitive, confidential issues
Ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Ability to communicate persuasively and to deliver clear and concise messages verbally and in writing
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) strongly desired

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance is required.
