The Role Responsibilities
Conduct due diligence on new and existing Insurance Provider and Broker partnerships across all markets.
Review Providers and Brokers evaluation and make recommendations on the partnership, as appropriate, including assessment of Financials, Compliance, FCC, Security Risk, Legal Agreement, etc.
Conduct due diligence review for all new, renewal and modification of products and across all markets in to ensure the Products distributed are fit for purpose.
Liaise with country and relevant group stakeholders (Grp Risk and Grp Compliance) to ensure that all required product approvals are in place timely.
Manage Insurance Product Approval Group (PAG) meetings and agenda
Identify and analyze the implication of emerging themes of the Insurance industry, including regulatory requirements and significant events affecting products, providers and/or brokers to report to the PAG.
Ensure business and product related processes are fit for purpose
Work with Legal, Compliance, Risk and other related control functions to ensure adherence to regulatory as well as internal standards and requirements.
Support ongoing control monitoring across the BANCA network
Continuous improvement of the operational effectiveness of processes to improve business efficiency
Support Global BANCA Head and COO PvB & WM to establish optimal control and operating infrastructure aligned to business objectives
Work with COO team / control functions to comply with the highest standards of conduct and compliance standards as defined by internal and external requirements. Embed Group Conduct Management Framework in BANCA across the Global and Country BANCA teams.
Support and strengthen first line operational risk management in BANCA
Support audit readiness and support zero audit overdue findings and maintenance of Advanced or Established MCA ratings for all Bancassurance audit

Good business judgment with the ability to prioritise an extensive and complex set of issues
Strong analytical and problem solving
Results orientation, energy and ambition to drive process changes across geographies
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-border, multi-functional, multi-cultural, multi-product teams to achieve superior results
