How will I help? We have a clear vision here at Westpac - to be one of the world's great service companies. The Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) helps us realise that vision both here in Australia and overseas - and as one of our Assistant Relationship Managers, you'll have your own important role to play too.
This is a rare opportunity to gain an entry-level position into the relationship management team in Corporate and Institutional Banking ('CIB'). CIB is the customer facing arm in Westpac's Institutional Bank ('WIB') - proudly Australia's leading Institutional bank.
Working alongside some of the industry's best and brightest, you'll be involved in a number of key activities across the customer-facing arm of WIB, as you gain a deeper understanding of a specific industry. You'll prepare in-depth industry strategies - and use these insights to help develop and deliver financial solutions that are built to make life easier for our customers. It'll be up to you to coordinate a range of forecasts, reports and plans as well (think revenue reports and pricing approvals). And to help support the relationships we have with our customers in all kinds of ways.

What do I need?
A degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or similar would definitely work in your favour. As would practical experience in credit or corporate finance. You'll need to be a great communicator - and just as well-versed in managing a whole number of stakeholders towards the one decision (the right one). A team player and a decisive thinker, you'll work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers. And you'll have a drive to succeed that'll help you tackle even the most challenging tasks with an open mind and energy.
