Your time will look something like this... The Consumer Banking Full Time Management Associate (MA) Program provides development-focused opportunities coupled with structured training, mentoring and events to help you learn and network across the Global Consumer Bank. During the 2-year Program, you will experience three 8-month rotations in any of the following Products and Functions: Cards, Retail Banking, Global Retail Banking/Lending, Consumer Business Operational Risk and Control, Digital Channels & Services, Digital Acquisitions & Sales, Marketing, New Business Development and FinTech. Within these areas of the Global Consumer Bank, Summer MAs may work in various job functions including, but not limited to, Acquisitions, Product Management, Innovation, Customer Experience and Analytics. This business offers banking and investing products and services to meet client’s day-to-day financial needs. Retail Banking & Wealth Management businesses provide checking, savings, loans, financial planning, and investments. They are provided by bankers, relationship managers, financial advisors, and other agents through the branch network and call centers, as well as through ATMs, online, and mobile apps. The business’ global strategy is to deliver a top-notch customer-centric experience, be the preeminent bank for our target segments and top cities, grow through premier digital offerings, and leverage Citi’s unrivaled global footprint. Global Retail Banking & Consumer Lending Global Retail Banking & Consumer Lending (GRBCL) formed in September 2018, with a focus on driving new strategies, best practices and synergies across global products and segments in Consumer. While execution is primarily handled in regional and local markets, the global team takes a lead role in developing GCB client-led strategies, centrally designing frameworks and infrastructure for connectivity with global partners or through local execution. In partnership with the regions, the team crafts differentiated value for clients through unique product propositions and bundles that cut across – and combine – cards, lending, deposits, investments, insurance and payments. GRBCL enables a data-driven model that couples client needs with behaviors, applying economic value at a customer level to drive this new lens of client-led growth while harnessing Citi’s distribution points – digital and physical, proprietary and partnerships – to enable new and exciting channels of growth.
Consumer Business Operational Risk and Control Working together to define and execute world class operational risk management practices, we will enhance the client experience, achieve sustainable, responsible growth and protect our brand. Fostering effective partnerships with internal oversight partners. Work closely with first line and second line of defense to manage and mitigate risk. Minimize Risk and Control Issues through partnership and alignment with GCB organization business, regional and functional heads for front to back risk and control oversight. Consumer Digital The US Consumer Digital team is the foremost customer advocate within Citi’s US Consumer Bank. With the ability to harness the full power of our people, data, and resources to maximize prospect & customer engagement in support of our strategic priorities, our team is responsible for driving all digital aspects of customer experience, targeting and engagement across the franchise. We take a disciplined, data-driven approach to enhancing the customer experience across the full lifecycle, with digital and mobile as priority channels for acquisition, servicing and engagement. The focus is on delivering sustained, long-term business benefit to the US Consumer Bank by accelerating our progress towards being an industry-leading digital bank
Global Consumer Marketing GCM’s functional areas pull customers through the funnel by defining a clear strategy, driving impactful messaging and bringing the brand to life through differentiated experiences. The team’s scope includes multiple mass-media consumer channels including Social Media, Experiential marketing (Citi Private Pass), Television, Digital, and others. Through the creation and execution of a compelling and consistent expression of the consumer brand, GCM generates the tone and messaging that creates the foundation of the Citi brand for consumers
Global Business Development The Global Business Development group formed in 2018 with a vision to strengthen streamline and spearhead GCB’s business development efforts globally with major strategic partners. The team spans across two main sub-groups: Global Networks and Business Development. The Global Networks team manages Citi’s relationships with the two major networks, Visa & Mastercard. The Business Development team works across Business Units and Regions to develop strategic partnerships with major partners. FinTech Citi Fintech is our “Bank of Tomorrow”. This team will build, empower and drive cutting edge products and services on its mission to improve people’s lives through the use of technology. We will design and deliver mobile-first capabilities leveraging our internal strengths and accessing the best capabilities available in the Fintech space across the full range of client services: borrow, spend, save, invest and protect. Our first focus is on the delivery of a mobile banking application for our NA CG client base/target audience.
