To represent the Cooperative to those customers considered to be key accounts. Key accounts will be composed primarily of existing commercial, industrial and institutional customers, along with developers of business and industrial property. The primary objective is to retain existing loads and cultivate relationships with key accounts.
Cultivates relationships with key customers and trade allies while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and commitment. Responsible for maintaining good relationships with small commercial to industrial customers.
Establishes and maintains contacts with developers of business and industrial property to promote our products and services.
Seeks out prospects/opportunities for sales of electric end-use technologies, services related to electric equipment, and other energy supplied by the Cooperative, and assists in community economic development.
Provides value-added services including rate comparison, billing analysis, comparative energy use analysis/studies and other technical and related issues as well as other services as needed.
Keeps abreast of new and existing electro-technologies, especially as they relate to small and medium commercial energy users.
Keeps abreast of utility deregulation as well as new and existing competitive technologies and related competitive marketing issues.
Develops a database of information on all key accounts.
Understands all rates, policies, and procedures related to the provision of service to the key account customer group.
Works with key accounts, developers and municipals on street and security lighting projects. Recommends changes to tariffs, as appropriate.
Works with key accounts on the development of maintenance contracts, including lighting maintenance.
Develops proposals for on-site generation, as appropriate, and works with EKPC to develop appropriate financing, maintenance programs, and billing.
Ensures billing dates are entered correctly for member accounts.
Reviews large power pre-bills.
Reviews large power (top 25 accounts) bills before they are sent to industrial member.
Calculates B and G bills for industrial members.
Prepares Wausau billing and sends to proper person(s).
Prepares PGW interruptible adjustment with assistance from engineering department.
Prepares -0- usage demand report.

Required to pass a physical examination when employed. Must have sufficient health to perform the essential functions, duties and responsibilities of the job.
