Desk Analysts are responsible for identifying and analyzing distressed, event driven and special situation credits with the objective of developing profitable ideas for SC Lowy and our clients.

Fundamentals for success
A passion for investing and a demonstrated aptitude for deep-drive credit analysis, financial modelling and valuation techniques
Understanding of leveraged loan, high yield bonds and related documentation
Familiarity with structural and legal issues typically encountered in distressed or restructuring situations
An entrepreneurial mindset which exhibits drive, initiative, energy and an ability to assess opportunity in any situation
Proven organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced trading-floor environment
An exceptionally strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness coupled with logic and common-sense thinking skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiations abilities
European languages helpful, French and Spanish of particular interest
A network of relevant contacts including management teams and financial/legal advisors is helpful.
A background in Distressed or Special Situations, either on the buy or sell-side, or alternatively 4+ years of relevant experience, such as restructuring advisory, leveraged finance or investment banking.
