This position is an integral member of the Cybersecurity Identity Management team as the Cloud Identity Transformation Technical Manager and will be responsible for leading the identity cloud transformation efforts in advancing Tenetï¿½s cybersecurity program. You will work with business leadership, staff and key stakeholders and will provide planning and directing of projects and business operations to ensure the strategic business plans are successfully executed. You will develop short to long term IDM transformation strategies. You will lead the expansion of the IDM transformation framework and support processes to facilitate the efficient and timely execution of the programï¿½s strategic initiatives. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity.
Serve as a hands on subject matter expert in the field of application security. Work with developers, architects, project leads/managers, business analysts and others, in identifying security requirements for projects and ensures that these requirements are met as part of the software development lifecycle.
Develop and grow a risk-based Application Security program which meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry leading information security practices.
Work closely with product and platform teams to engineer application security controls based upon policies, standards, and best practices.
Assess threats to Tenetï¿½s business, enterprise applications, and deploy countermeasures for those threats.
Collaborate with application development teams, other business units, and third-party vendors to achieve program requirements while enabling the business.
Perform security design review, threat modeling and architectural/system security assessments to ensure that solutions are being designed with a minimal degree of technical risk.
Identify, triage, and provide remediation guidance of vulnerabilities within software applications and systems using a variety of tools and methodologies.
Create advisory and strategy documents, conduct proof-of-concept evaluations, selection advice and recommendations, and determine optimal ways of integrating technology into new and existing processes.
Apply and determine the impact of the introduction of new and emerging programming methods, technologies, and industry trends on the security posture of Tenetï¿½s enterprise applications and development methodology. Be prepared to provide actionable guidance and security requirements on the impacts of any new technologies or methodologies when such inputs are needed.
Perform threat models and risk assessments to characterize the risk and severity posture of large-scale commercial or in-house enterprise applications.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the information security strategy, policies and procedures.
Manages data discovery / data inventory scanning tools and configurations across multiple OS platforms and measure results against published standards.
Leads the effort around data management and protection with respect to vendor controls and analyzes any possible impact on Tenetï¿½s data integrity.
Work with assigned project managers, project consultants, reporting and operations teams to ensure that measurements are in place to evaluate and validate results delivery for each project undertaken.
Seek industry and area best practices ï¿½ determine value and drive change standardization where appropriate to gain efficiencies.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with business steak holder and operation staff in order to assess and meet the needs of the business.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with all impacted business units.
Manage security solution lifecycle requirements, expansion, and redundancy planning.
Bachelorï¿½s degree with a major course work in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or closely related field.
5+ yearsï¿½ experience in information security; strong application security expertise required.
2+ yearsï¿½ experience in a formal .NET application development role.
Working knowledge of common web application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top Ten, SANS Top 25, etc.) and programming patterns that lead to them, as well as remediation techniques.
Experience with software security testing (static and dynamic analysis).
Experience with enterprise applications (architecture, development, support, and troubleshooting).
Working knowledge of authentication and identity management technologies.
Working knowledge of cryptography, including encryption and hashing, to include proper application to real-world situations.
Professionally recognized certifications in a security-related field, OWASP, GSSP-.NET, CISSP or other certifications preferred.
Deep technical understanding of how cyber-attacks are carried out and how they can be disrupted.
Strong experience supporting effective cyber and information security programs.
Experience in working within information classification and/or data privacy frameworks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated.
Should have working knowledge and experience ensuring compliance with security frameworks such as ISO, PCI DSS, NIST, CIS and SANS Critical Controls.
