The Department of Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is accepting applications for an ABR and CAQ certified Neuroradiologist to primarily work in our expanding outpatient environment as a member of our Neuroradiology Division. The Neuroradiology Division provides clinical coverage of multiple inpatient, ED and outpatient facilities, with multidisciplinary interaction across the subspecialties of adult and pediatric neurology, neurosurgery, otorhinolaryngology, physical and rehabilitative medicine and psychiatry. Mentorship and collegiality are strengths of the division and department. On-call responsibilities are shared across the Neuroradiology Division for evening and weekend (daytime) reading, without overnight on-site call, which is covered by the department’s ED division.
Candidates will also participate in departmental faculty development and quality improvement activities. A strong desire for a career in academic radiology is encouraged—with time dedicated weekly for research and educational pursuits. Qualified candidates must be proficient in CT and MR imaging modalities, including advanced imaging techniques for head and neck, adult and pediatric CNS, spine and vascular disease. Ability to perform CT- guided procedures is preferred.
