The School of Engineering, Computing and Construction Management (SECCM) at Roger Williams University invites applications at the tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor or Lecturer level in the Construction Management program starting in January or August of 2020.
Duties include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, supervising students, academic advising, service, and attracting funded research. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications. The successful candidate must be capable of teaching construction management subjects and should demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following areas to include but not limited to: construction methods and materials, MEPF systems, estimating, scheduling, surveying, and construction equipment.
Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering (with a construction management specialization) or a Master's degree in a construction related discipline and substantial industry experience. Candidates who are currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program and will complete their degree within one year of appointment will be considered. Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Candidates with professional experience and registration/certification including but not limited to CPC, PE, AIA, LEED, or DBIA will be given preference.
