We are seeking two tenure-track assistant professors and/or associate professors to fill needs created by the addition of the proposed Master’s program in Construction Management and in the existing undergraduate Construction Science and Management program.
The CSM program at Texas State is accredited through the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) and currently enjoys over 560 majors, nine dedicated faculty and an active Construction Industry Advisory Council. The department also offers undergraduate degrees in Concrete Industry Management and Engineering Technology. The proposed Master of Science in Construction Management is under development and is expected to commence in Fall 2020.

The selected candidates are also expected to secure external funding, and to conduct research and publish in areas appropriate for an emerging research institution. Further, the candidates will cooperate with colleagues in program development and providing career counseling and advising to CSM majors, and engage in departmental, university and professional service activities. A candidate hired at the Associate Professor level will also be expected to engage in greater departmental service, including mentoring junior faculty.
Successful applicants will receive appropriate rank and title based on established university and department standards.
